This machine has a comprehensive 4-color (CMYK) drop-on-demand micro piezo inkjet technology. This system also has two sets of 180 nozzles for black printing and 60 nozzles for cyan, yellow and magenta colors. In other words, five different individual ink cartridges contain the DURABrite Ultra ink. This ink is smudge, fade, and water-resistant to produce the best print quality. Epson Stylus C120 also includes an internal driver for the best duplex print performance.

Specifications

The print output from this machine has a light resistance or print longevity of up to 105 years. The minimum ink droplet size is three picolitres (pl), and the maximum print resolution is 5760×1440 optimized dots per inch (dpi). In printing, black documents run at 37 pages per minute (ppm) while color documents run at 20 ppm. However, the laser-quality black text runs at 25 ppm while the color text document print at 11 ppm.

The paper handling for this device supports a maximum paper size of 8.5 x 44 inches. In addition, it supports standard paper sizes such as photo paper sizes, A4, B5, A5, A6, half letter, executive, and user-defined sizes. On the other hand, the supported paper types include:

The input paper tray can accommodate up to 120 sheets of plain paper.
