The Epson L310 printer model is one of the most straightforward Epson printers capable of modern printer usage. Firstly, it is a print-only device design for the consumer. This machine has a minimum ink droplet size of 3 picolitres (pl) within a variable-sized droplet technology. At the same time, the supported ink technology is on dye ink. Epson L310 also has an internal driver that supports manual duplex printing for Windows and Mac OS versions.

The machine can produce a quality printing resolution of up to 5760 x 1440 dots per inch (dpi). Its nozzle configuration is up to 180 nozzles for black printing and 59 nozzles for each of cyan, magenta, and yellow colors. Meanwhile, when printing at the ISO/IEC 24734 standard mode, the rate is 9.2 pages per minute (ppm) and 4.5 ppm for monochrome and color, respectively. However, the printing rate is 15 ppm for color documents.

However, the standard printing rate for black and white documents is 33 ppm for plain A4 papers. This machine supports A4, A5, A6, B5, C6, legal, letter, and user-defined documents. Moreover, the input paper tray can also load up to 100 sheets of plain paper, which is the maximum rate. Also, it can load up to 20 photo sheets through the automatic document feeder (ADF). However, the output tray can load up to 30 printed paper sheets.
